Shure MC50 Lavalier Microphone Applications

The Shure MC50B omnidirectional subminiature lavalier mic is ideal for speech applications such as theatre performance and television broadcasting where microphone discreteness is required.

Sound Signature

Despite its small size, the microphone's condenser element provides full, clear and natural reproduction of speech. It is supplied with two types of equalization caps for high frequency response shaping. The mild boost equalization cap attenuates the natural high frequency peak of the microphone. The high boost cap does not attenuate the high frequency peak.

Wireless Options

The MC50 is designed for wired use and  includes an in-line preamplifier and a 1.5m cable with TA4F connector.  If you wish to go wireless, choose the WL50 which is the same microphone but without the pre-amplifier and connects directly into any shure wireless bodypack.
