The above selection of microphones covers a range of audio needs for a church with a desire for multiple microphone options. Two wireless Shure SM58's allow the priest or any other speaker to move around the altar. Also included are a pair of Shure overhead microflex microphones which are perfect for capturing the choir, plus a lecturn microphone and a boundary microphone for any additional speaker or soloist.

This type of system allows for great flexibility for speech and performances which typically would take place in a church.

A CD player, MP3 player or even music via a laptop can also be used at this stage.

Above you can see the Shure SCM810 mixer, which caters for up to 8 microphone inputs and allows the user to adjust the volume or EQ of any given microphone channel. The SCM810 also features the Shure patented IntelliMix, which activates only microphones being addressed, minimizing poor audio caused by multiple open microphones.

The Shure SCM262 is an easy-to-use stereo mixer which can be used in a host of applications and overcomes many problems associated with using multiple microphones.

The QSC DSP4 boxes allows you to program the speakers via software.

QSC's CX series of amplifiers have been used as they are specifically tailored for installation, and include QSC's exclusive Powerwave™ technology (switching power supply technology to virtually eliminate noise and hum).

QSC AD-S82H's are ideal surface mount speakers in this type of application, ship complete with Yoke Mounts and have 450 Watts of Power. The AD-S52 would work as delay fills and would typically be used at the back of the church, or on a balcony.
