The successful candidate will be part of the internal sales team, providing front line support and assistance to business and consumer customers of our products. Our internal sales team is a pivotal part of our business so good teamwork and communication skills are an essential requirement for success.
Job Responsibilities
All aspects of customer service including:
- Answering in-bound calls and acting as a primary office based contact between Shure Distribution UK and our customers.
- Resolving customer queries, providing product recommendations and quotations etc.
- Manage the execution of all sales orders (acceptance, entry, completion) and monitor the delivery.
- Fielding technical, service repair or accounts telephone calls and directing to appropriate departments.
- Updating and maintaining customer master data and preferences.
Support of Regional External Account Managers:
- General administration and support, sorting and filing of order admin, processing agreed orders etc.
- Providing assistance in account management of customers as requested such as sending marketing materials, product literature or further technical information to customers.
- Ensure continuous communication regarding key customers activities to external account managers.
Additional functions:
- Liaising with the logistics, purchasing, marketing and finance departments to ensure excellent customer service.
- The provision of appropriate hospitality and care for visiting customers.
- Meet or exceed team targets.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates should, ideally, have experience of sales order entry systems such as SAP and possess excellent organisational skills as well as demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy skills.
Good communication skills, an energetic and positive attitude are a must, plus an interest in music and live performance would be a benefit.

- Minimum of GCSE education or equivalent education essential.
- 2+ years of relevant Customer Services experience.
- Good skills in standard PC office applications including MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of the contact database system Achiever and SAP business management software would be an advantage.
- An interest in technology or making, creating, or performing music would also be a benefit.
Salary
TBC depending on experience.
